Welcome to Signals Everywhere!

Do you have an interest in Software Defined Radio but not sure how to get started?

Here you’ll find videos, tutorials as well as our podcast which will help you step up your SDR game and take things to the next level.

What is SDR?

Software Defined Radio (SDR) is what you get when you take the hardware traditionally associated with a radio like mixers, modulators etc and replace them with software.

This allows you to do some interesting things like recieve digital modes like P25, DMR, YSF and more without a costly scanner. You could also transmit live digital television using DVB-S, the same format used in the broadcast satellite industry.

SDR reaches into the amateur radio and scanner hobby and takes it by the horns.

Who am I?

My name is Harold Giddings, but you can call me Corrosive. It’s been my online alias for years. (it also happens to be my amateur callsign KR0SIV).

I’ve fallen in love with Software Defined Radio and I’ve always have a deep desire to share my knowledge. This stuff isn’t always easy¬† so when I learn something new I can’t wait to share it in the hopes I can make something easier for the rest of the community.
