I'm James from Calais in the north of France.
When I was young (in the late 80's), I loved playing with my CB radio (Marko Excalbur MK III). Now, when I've got a bit of spare time, I like playing with my SDRs : 2 cheap chinese SDRs, one RTL-SDR blog v3 and an Airspy mini. My main antenna is a Centerfire Deluxe discone in the attic with a LNA4ALL. I've also got a Spyverter upconverter and a Nooelec mini balun.
I use the SDRs for a bit of everything: POCSAG, ADS-B, AIS, weather sats... and general listening.
I would like to listen to more HF signals but I haven't got a suitable antenna for that.
I enjoy watching your videos and I also like the rtl-sdr.com site and Carl Laufer's book.
Thanks for all your hard work.
Thanks for your kind words. It's great to have you here!
I'm still working on building out the forums so I'm more than open to suggestions.
Please feel free to post here about your projects, ideas, questions etc and I'll be around to answer what I can.
Our moderators from Discord should be hoping on too.
